Arkhip Kouïndji began his artist training in Imperial Academy of Arts, Saint Petersburg, Russie. Among his students and apprentices, we noted that he taught Nicholas Roerich, Vilhelms Purvitis, Konstantin Fedorovich Bogaevsky.
